DOODO is a tiny smart desk pet with a big personality.
On its bright little screen, DOODO shows you the things that matter through the day — the time, the Hijri date, prayer times, the weather, currency rates, your stocks and crypto, a stopwatch, your own scrolling message, and even a live YouTube subscriber count.
Between all that, DOODO simply lives on your desk as a cute companion, reacting with a wide range of facial moods.
HAPPY
Tap the screen — DOODO is alive
What you control: a tap, a swipe and a long-press on the screen, plus a friendly web page (the portal) you open from your phone to set everything up.
2@@start@@Getting Started
Power on, connect to Wi-Fi once, and you’re set.
Plug it in. Connect DOODO to power with a USB-C cable. It plays a short splash, then shows its face.
Join DOODO’s setup Wi-Fi. The first time, DOODO makes its own Wi-Fi hotspot. On your phone, connect to it — a setup page opens automatically.
Pick your home Wi-Fi. Choose your network, type the password, and tap Save. DOODO reconnects to your Wi-Fi.
Explore. Tap and swipe the screen to move through the pages. Set your city and the rest from the portal (see section 7).
Already online? You can open the portal any time from a phone on the same Wi-Fi at doodo.local — or tap CONNECT on the Settings page to show a QR code that opens it.
3@@gestures@@Touch & Gestures
DOODO understands four simple gestures.
TapGo to the next page · press buttons · start/stop the stopwatch

Long-pressPress and hold anywhere to cycle screen brightness
ShakeGently shake to make DOODO dizzy (if enabled)
Brightness: just long-press
Press and hold anywhere on the screen to cycle through three brightness levels. It works on every page — even on the QR connect screen.

Off
The cycle is Full → Dim → Off → Full. Great for dimming DOODO at night without opening any menu.
Shake me!
Give DOODO a gentle shake and it goes delightfully dizzy — spiral eyes and a wobbly smile — then settles back. Turn this on or off with Shake to wobble in the portal.
4@@pages@@The Pages
Swipe through up to eleven pages. Hide any you don’t need from the portal.
FACE
DOODO's home screen — a big, animated face that reacts to the time of day, prayer times, the weather and your taps.
TIME
A bold digital clock with the day, the date, and the matching Hijri date underneath.
PRAYER
The five daily prayer times for your city. The next prayer is highlighted so you always know what's coming.
HIJRI
The Islamic (Hijri) calendar for the current month, with today's date circled.
WEATHER
Right-now weather for your location: a friendly icon, the temperature, the condition, humidity and wind.
CURRENCY
Live exchange rates — your home currency converted into the currencies you choose.
MARKETS
Your watch-list of stocks and crypto, with green for up and pink for down.
TIMER
A simple stopwatch shown as HH:MM:SS. Tap START to run and STOP to pause; RESET clears it. DOODO gets FOCUSED while it runs.
TEXT
Your own scrolling message, with fun themes and emoji shortcodes like  and .
YOUTUBE
A live YouTube subscriber count for any channel you pick. Appears only once it has a real number.
SETTINGS
Your device at a glance — name, ID, Wi-Fi, IP address, firmware and uptime — plus the CONNECT and RESET buttons.
Some pages appear only when they have data — the YouTube page shows up once it has a real subscriber count, for instance. DOODO can also auto-cycle the pages for you (turn on Auto page cycling).
5@@moods@@DOODO’s Moods
DOODO has twenty-one facial moods. They change on their own to match the moment.
Who wins when moods compete: important moments show first, then your choice, then everything else — Prayer / Eid / Ramadan › your tapped mood › timer focus › everyday mood. Tapping the face cycles all 21 in order, and each one shows its name for a moment so look-alikes (like Fasting and Happy) are easy to tell apart. How long a tapped face stays is set by Tapped Mood Hold Time in the portal (see section 7). At 10:00 PM DOODO releases a held face once and gets sleepy — tap again if you’re staying up.
HAPPY
The everyday face — bright eyes and a gentle smile.
BIG SMILE
Extra happy — ^ ^ eyes, an open grin and rosy cheeks.
EXCITED
Buzzing — big sparkly eyes, a wide grin and sparkles.
LOVING

HEART EYES
Head over heels — beating heart-shaped eyes and a grin.
WINK
A playful one-eyed wink with a twinkle and a little blush.
CURIOUS

PRAYING
Calm and reverent — serene closed eyes, a crescent and stars.
FASTING
Serene and patient — a calm face with a crescent to the side.
SLEEPY
Winding down — glowing slit eyes, a soft breath and drifting Zzz.
SAD
A little down — heavy droopy lids and one slow tear.
CRYING

Moods are automatic — DOODO picks them from the time of day, prayer and fasting times, the stopwatch, fresh data and your taps. A mood you trigger by interacting holds for a little while (you can set how long with Tapped mood hold in the portal).
6@@ondevice@@On-Device Settings
The last page — Settings — shows your device details and two handy buttons.
CONNECT
Tap it to show a QR code. Scan it with your phone to jump straight to DOODO’s portal (doodo.local). Long-press still dims the screen while the QR is showing.
RESET (factory reset)
A safe two-tap wipe. Tap RESET once and it turns coral and asks SURE? Tap again within a few seconds to erase everything and restart into setup. If you don’t tap again, it cancels itself.
Forgot the portal password? This on-device reset is your way back in.
7@@portal@@The Web Portal
The portal is where you set up everything. It’s a web page — no app to install.
To open it: make sure your phone is on the same Wi-Fi as DOODO, then visit doodo.local in any browser — or tap CONNECT on the Settings page and scan the QR. On some Android phones doodo.local won’t resolve; use the IP address shown on the Settings page instead (e.g. 192.168.1.42). After changing things, tap Save settings at the bottom.

8@@link@@DOODO Link NEW
Pair two DOODOs anywhere in the world and send little notes and mood faces that pop up on each other’s screens.
Find your code. Open the portal and look at the DOODO Link card — it shows your device’s unique 8-character code.
Swap codes. You type your friend’s code into your portal, and they type yours into theirs. Both tap Save settings. That’s the whole pairing — no accounts, no app.
Send something. Type a short note (with a live preview of exactly how it will look on their screen) or tap a face — KISS, LOVE, LAUGH, WINK, COOL or SMILE.
When you send
Your own DOODO plays a little heart flying off the screen with a SENT! bubble.
If their DOODO is switched off, the message waits safely in the cloud for up to 7 days and arrives when they’re back.
When you receive
A note arrives as a card — “FROM SARA” with a heart — tap to close.
A face arrives as your DOODO literally making that expression at you, with a “FROM SARA” bubble.
Pairing needs both DOODOs online. If a note says Failed, check DOODO isn’t showing its sad (offline) face, that the code is exactly 8 characters, and that you tapped Save settings after entering it.
9@@tips@@Tips & Troubleshooting
Tap any question to see the fix.
A page isn’t showing?
Open the portal → Visible pages and switch it on. The YouTube page also needs a valid @handle.
Can’t open doodo.local (Android)?
Use the IP address shown on the Settings page instead, and make sure your phone is on Wi-Fi (not mobile data).
YouTube count not appearing?
Enter your channel’s @handle in Subscriber Counter and save. The first number can take a moment.
Screen too bright at night?
Long-press the screen to cycle Full → Dim → Off — no menu needed.
Forgot the portal password?
On the Settings page, tap RESET, then tap again at SURE? to factory-reset and start fresh.
Weather temperature looks a bit high?
Double-check your City in the Weather card so DOODO uses the right location.
